Booking Your Bell Tent Stay

Please ensure that when you make your payment that you use the name that you have booked with as your reference to enable us to match your details.


Tariff from £85 per night per Bell tent for the first Two Adults

We have different size tents available depending on number of guests and availability

(Additional charges are as follows

£5 per child up to the age of 18 & £10 per night for each additional Adult)


For our Bell Tents we require a refundable damage deposit of £100 payable with your final payment, This will be refunded on the day of departure after a full check of the bell tent, any damage will be charged for the cost of replacement or repair.

we are able to charge electrical equipment (phones, torches etc) & we also have a shared fridge/freezer and microwave available at our stables 


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Should we be unable to proceed with your booking due to Covid, you will be offered the choice of a refund or credit for another time. However, if decide to cancel a booking that could otherwise go ahead, the usual T&C’s will apply.


Camping pitches are available from 3pm on day of arrival until 11pm on your day of departure.Unless prior arrangements are made. Please let us know if you are going to arrive later than 8pm so that arrangements can be made.

We reserve the right to charge for damage caused by guests, their family or pets. We hereby formally disclaim any liability for any losses or injury sustained by guests or their property, except where negligence on the part of ourselves or our staff is legally provable. We reserve the right to refuse any reservation request at our own discretion.


There is one car parking space provided per pitch. Due to the nature of the site additional cars by prior arrangement only.


We must stress that this is a family friendly site and not suitable for groups who want to party all night long! 


BOOKINGS & ALTERATIONS TO BOOKINGS: To secure a booking, you will need to complete the booking form and pay a 50% deposit with payment in full 7 days before arrival.


CANCELLATION BY YOU: Please only book with us if you are certain you can come. You may cancel your holiday at any time providing that the cancellation is made by the person who booked the holiday and should be communicated to us in writing. However we will only refund your payment if we can rebook your pitch otherwise a cancellation charge may be applied

It is regretful that no refunds can be given if guests depart prior to the end of the booked holiday, unless they do so as the result of the breach of some obligation on our part which would justify cancelling the holiday.


THIS CONTRACT

This contract is with Hedgeberry Ltd . A contract exists as soon as we have issued our confirmation letter and you should please check this carefully to see that it reflects your wishes. Please inform us of any discrepancy within 7 days unless your holiday is to start within 14 days in which case you should inform us within 24 hours.

The terms contained in this contract do not affect your statutory rights.


GENERAL

All prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change the tariff at any time to reflect changes in the rate of VAT.

Well behaved dogs are allowed provided that the owner agrees to our Dogs Code of Conduct below.

During Bank Holiday weekends there is a minimum three night stay.


CHANGE OR CANCELLATION OF THE HOLIDAY BY US

If we are unable to provide the booked holiday and have had to cancel before the holiday is due to start, we will credit your account to be used another time within one calendar year of your original booking. We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to the site becoming unsuitable due to weather 


HOLIDAY BEHAVIOUR STANDARDS AND TERMINATION

By making a booking with us you have entered a contract in which you undertake, on behalf of yourself and the people in your party (including children), to adopt the following standards of behaviour:

To act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff and other guests.

To supervise children properly so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others. Please note that at all times the safety of children is the responsibility of their parents or guardians.

You further agree that you will not:

– commit any criminal offence on the site or undertake any criminal activity

– commit any acts of vandalism or nuisance

– keep or carry any firearm or any other weapon at the site

– use any unlawful drugs

– create any undue noise or disturbance

– carry on any trade or business while on the site

Quiet hours are from 10pm until 8am. Please respect your fellow guests and keep noise to an absolute minimum. In the interests of all visitors, we reserve the right to refuse to hand over any pitch or accommodation unit to any person or groups of persons at our discretion. In such cases, all site fees paid will be refunded in full and the contract shall be discharged. If in our opinion any person is not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour, damage to property or annoyance to other holidaymakers, we reserve the right to exclude the holiday party from the park. In this event, you will remain liable for the hire price and no refund shall be due. You will remain liable for any damage caused to property.


HEALTH AND SAFETY

We take the wellbeing and safety of our guests very seriously and we ask that you comply with the following:

The speed limit on the park is strictly 5 mph.

All vehicles must conform to the Road Traffic Act and have current tax, MOT and insurance. The provisions of the Highway Code apply to the roads on the park.

Guests are not allowed to bring lorries or other commercial vehicles on to the park. This includes towing vehicles.

No mechanical or repair work is to be undertaken on the park with the exception of emergency repairs under the supervision of a motoring organisation.

In the unlikely event of a natural disaster or emergency requiring implementation of the park’s Emergency Action Plan you will be notified by duty staff.

Please make yourself aware of the nearest fire point.


DOGS CODE OF CONDUCT

In order that we can continue to allow dogs at Hedgeberry, we must ask all dog owners to adhere to our Dogs Code of Conduct as follows :-

1. No part of the site is a “dog exercising area,” they must be exercised off the site at all times.

2. Please keep your dog on a lead at all times whilst on the campsite, even for the short journey from your car to your tent.

3. Please do not allow your dog to foul in the camping area of the farm In the event of an accident, please clean up after your dog. Please also ensure that you clean up after our dog whilst on any area of the site

4. Do not leave your dog unattended on site at any time.


DATA PROTECTION

The information supplied on the Booking Form will be stored on computer for administrative purposes. Under no circumstances will this information be provided to a third party. For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1984 the signing of the Declaration on the Booking Form signifies your consent to these terms.

HedgeBerry Camping Etiquette 

We are a small quiet pop up campsite. To ensure all our campers enjoy their stay, please follow our simple campsite etiquette rules. Please be aware, failure to do so could result in you being asked to leave. 

  • Arrival 
    Campers can arrive from 3pm onwards until 8pm.
    If you are looking to arrive outside these times, please email for prior approval. 
    Please ensure you sign in when you arrive as we have to have contact details for the Council, insurance and, more recently, Covid-19
  • Departure 
    Please vacate your pitch by 11am. Please ensure you leave your pitch in the state you would expect to find it when you arrive. 
  • Payment 
    Payment must be made the week before or at booking if less than 7days
  • Children
    Children should be supervised at all times especially in the toilet & are not allowed to enter any paddocks with animals. 
  • Dogs 
    While we welcome dogs on site, please ensure they are kept on a lead at all times.
    Please do not allow your dog to go to the toilet on the campsite.
    You are more than welcome to walk the around our farm but please ensure you pick up after your dog. 
  • Fires & BBQ’s 
    We are more than happy for campers to have a fire and/or BBQ but please ensure they are not placed directly on the ground.
    We have blocks you can borrow 
  • Our Animals
    You can say hello and you are more than welcome to do so but please do not go in the Paddocks with them & please do not feed them as they have specialised diets. Please be aware that we do have Bee Hives on site which unless disturbed will not cause any problems.
  • Noise
    Please consider other campers & our neighbours at all times & respect our quiet hours. 
  • Our quiet hours are from 10.00pm until 8am. Please keep all noise levels to a minimum during these periods. 
  • Smoking
    No smoking areas include 
    • The toilets 
    • Please ensure that you do not litter the ground with cigarette ends etc as this will harm the animals and can cause fires
  • Rubbish
    We do not currently have the facilities for rubbish to be left this will need to be taken home with you! Please speak to us about any composting or disposal of ash ?
